Dr. Paul Hopkins, N.D. is an award-winning naturopathic doctor, humanitarian, and researcher whose career bridges evidence-based science, holistic traditions, and global health advocacy.
His journey began at just 14 years old when he was recruited into SmithKline Beckman Pharmaceuticals through the Business Experience Education Program (B.E.E.P.) an advanced science and corporate training initiative for gifted students. Upon graduating high school, he received the Bausch & Lomb Science Award for Science and went on to serve nine years at SmithKline Beckman Pharmaceuticals in Records Management, Periodicals, Medical Affairs, and Research & Development, working primarily on the breakthrough drug "Tagamet", the first blockbuster drug for acid-related disorders.
After two decades in pharmaceutical and corporate business, Dr. Paul transitioned into community-based health. He became a Certified CDSMP Trainer through Thomas Jefferson University College of Health Professions, Center for Applied Research on Aging and Health (CARAH), where he taught and facilitated evidence-based health programs for seniors and underserved communities. He later advanced to Stanford University Patient Education Research Center in Palo Alto, CA, where he earned his Master Trainer Certification in the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) a Stanford model.
Dr. Paul co-facilitated and co-authored the Harvest Health Program, an evidence-based adaptation of CDSMP published in The Gerontologist (2008). The program was developed with key collaborators including Center in the Park, Albert Einstein Health Network, Jefferson CARAH, Center for Applied Research on Aging and Health and the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA). Dr. Paul presented these findings at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which sponsored and funded the initiative.
Alongside evidence-based practice, Dr. Paul pursued deeper spiritual and cultural knowledge, becoming a Doctor of Naturopathy through the Llaila O. Afrika School of Naturopathy & African Sciences, under the International Board of African Thinkers and Ghanaian Traditional Healers. This training grounded his philosophy of holistic healing across Spirit, Mind, and Body.
His humanitarian service extends globally. In 2012, he founded the Global Millennium International NGO, which holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is a registered NGO with the UN Department of Public Information (DPI). In alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
Dr. Paul’s lifelong commitment to health equity and global wellness has earned him widespread recognition, including being honored with the NAACP Health Award-Willow Grove Branch, for outstanding contributions to holistic health and community empowerment.

Dr. Paul Hopkins, N.D. has been appointed to Special Consultantative status with the United Nations, ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) as of February 17, 2016. As CEO/President Dr. Paul and his amazing team of talented Humanitarians are modeling the goals of the United Nations post Millennium Development Goals (MDG's), and the newly established 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by over 190 Nations Worldwide. Dr. Paul and his Global Millennium International NGO organization was selected by the United Nations out of 475 organizations worldwide considered. Future development projects include the countries of Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, Kenya, Europe, and United States.

With privacy protected at all times, Dr. Paul is often sought out as the Holistic Naturopathic Doctor of choice for Academy Award–winning actors, Grammy Award–winning singers and songwriters, politicians, and professional athletes in Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL), Negro League Baseball, and collegiate football.
Teaching, Speaking, and Community Leadership
In addition to global travel, Dr. Paul continues his mission through speaking engagements and health seminar lectures at venues such as The Eagles Nest Development Center, Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, and Temple University’s PACEP Program. There, he teaches holistic health and technology to diverse audiences, while also providing private holistic health assessments for individuals and families.
Media Leadership
Dr. Paul is also the host of two widely followed radio programs: Dr. Paul’s Holistic Health Show, which airs Saturdays at 9 AM, and The Green Hour, which airs Sundays at 3 PM on WURD 900 AM/96.1 FM in Philadelphia. His broadcasts explore a wide range of topics, including holistic health practices, herbal medicine, detoxification, natural therapies, GMO awareness, food sustainability, and more.
Herbal Formulations and Health Network
Dr. Paul has created 75 original herbal formulas designed to address both preventative and chronic health needs, forming the foundation of Dr. Paul’s Herbal Formulas (2010–2025). Building upon this work, he launched Dr. Paul’s Holistic Health Network, which offers seminars, workshops, and lectures throughout the United States and internationally, including United Nations–affiliated locations.
